Mangaluru, Feb 14, 2017: It was on 22nd January, 2017 the old students of Ladyhill School, gathered for an Annual get together. The day began with invocation of Almighty, lead by Sr. Leonella, the Headmistress and her team, followed by observing silence to pay condolences to the dear departed souls of teachers and old students who passed away during the year.
The minutes of the previous year was read by Mrs. Judith Fernandes, the Secretary of the Old Students Association, followed by reading of the Statement of Accounts by the Treasurer, Mrs. Wilma Lobo. Mrs Anusuya, retired teacher for her exemplary achievements in the field of arts and sports, Mrs. Asha Snehalatha, teacher who retired from service after 38 years, Miss Nidisha Shetty, Ex-student of 2016 batch for being the highest scorer in SSLC examination, were felicitated by the Headmistress, Sr. Leonella and by Vice President of the Association Mrs. Swaroopa Shetty, Secretary Judith Fernandes and Treasurer Mrs. Wilma Lobo.
Mrs. Geetha Beryl Kishore, kept the audience on their toes with spot and fun games. Mrs. Judith Fernandes and her team entertained by dancing to the tunes of Baila songs, while Mrs. Wilma Lobo, Mrs. Letitia Fernandes and Mrs. Swaroopa Shetty enacted a comedy skit. The group dispersed with fun filled memories of their Alma Mater, after a game of housie and a sumptuous lunch. The members of the Association meet every year to pay respect to their Alma Mater and for fellowship, in the month of January, and also contribute generously to meet the needs of the school.
The time to recollect and share the past memories .It reminds us of the days we used to walk arund in the acpus with our friends haering to the teachers lectures about the subject and many more naughty things
