Karkala, Jan 19,2013 : The annual feast of the famous St Lawrence Church at Attur will be held from January 29 to 31. The theme of the feast this year is ’Lord, Enhance our Trust’.  Novena for the feast will begin on January 20, Sunday at 8.30 am.

Thirty sacred masses will be offered during the three day festivities.  Rev. Dr Aloysius Paul D’Souza, Bishop of Mangalore, will offer the mass on January 29 at 6 pm, while Udupi Bishop  Dr Gerald Isaac Lobo  will offer the mass on January 30 at 10 pm.



The mass to be held  at 10 am on January 31 will be offered by Mnsgr Baptist Menezes, Vicar General of Udupi Diocese.


There will also be a special prayer for the sick by Fr Alban D’Souza, parish priest of Kalmady.



Several priests, nuns and thousands of devotees are expected to take part in the feast.
