Elderly woman found murdered in house at Alake; stolen car traced at Bejai

Mangalore, Aug 1, 2014:  An elderly woman was found murdered in her house at Alake in the city during the early hours of August 1, Friday. The deceased  is Sushila (75).  At the outset it is suspected to be a murder for gain.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

It is learnt, she was living all alone in the ground floor of the house while her son and daughter-in-law stayed in the first floor. As the car which was parked outside the house is missing, the suspicion is that the assailants might have escaped in the car.

The Zen car was later found outside an automobile showroom near the KSRTC Bus stand at Bejai in Mangalore. It is surmised that the assailants have fled to some other town by abandoning the car.

Further investigations are underway.
