Mangaluru, March 29, 2020: Infosys Foundation led by Sudha Murthy which had sent its first consignment of medical supplies worth Rs 28 lakhs to Mangaluru to tackle Covid-19 on Saturday, has sent its second consignment on Sunday. The consignment included sanitizers, N-95 masks, personal protective equipment etc required by doctors, nurses, paramedical staff, ASHA workers and police personnel.
With this, the Infosys Foundation has in all provided medical supplies worth Rs 73 lakhs to Mangaluru, informed Mangaluru City Police Commissioner Dr P S Harsha, in a tweet.
The Police Department has provided mask, sanitizer and gloves to all constables on duty during the lockdown, the Commissioner has informed in his tweet.
My team is working 24×7 against all odds.. today have ensured supplies of PPE(personal protection equipment) basically a mask, santiser and gloves to each and every constable deployed.. to keep these frontline soldiers safe..
