The value system would be the backbone, mainly deciding the future in terms of career and in terms of the personality. Urging students to pursue sincere hard work, he said life is a course and the learning process never ends. The learning cycle is very important. There should not be compromise with discipline. The individual brilliance has to work. He said it is essential for each one to learn to work in a team. He called upon students to transform themselves and emerge as team leader. Team work is extremely important in the organisation. He said one should start learning from everybody.  The students after joining the organisation should mark a mentor to learn from.

In an industry one needs a mentor. He said be committed whatever you do. Integrity in all matters is the key value, which will achieve greatness. Asserting that any business is to make profit, Kumar said "if you are in a business you have to make profits. If you are not making profit you have no business to be in the businesses, it is the fundamental matter.

Challenges will mount everyday and the global business scenario is changing.  Stating that the budding managers should respond to the changes quickly and spontaneously, the managing director said respond to the changes to survive. If you move with the change you will succeed and if you make the change you will lead.

He said lead the change to be leader. He said bombing in the Saudi Arabia will increase the rate of crude oil in the global market. Anything will affect the businesses. If there is no growth what will happen, especially in the macro economy. He said ’gone are the days of inclusive business, it is global business.

Keep abreast of the development in the world especially over the global economy. The geo-political development is another area of concern.  He said competition will continue in life and the budding managers should compete with the best.   He urged students to keep asking questions so that one can challenge the existing practice. Being innovative would give  recognition.

Emphasising revolutionary change in the technological arena, he said the outgoing students should keep abreast of the technology. The three basics like data, analytics and algorithm would surely change the world scenario. He said strategy is very important. People need to look beyond today and added there is no need for titles, what matters is the image.
