Kaup police nab 2 bike lifters; another absconding

Kaup, July 22, 2014: Kaup police have arrested two persons wanted in connection with various two-wheeler theft cases.  Meanwhile, one more accused managed to give the cops a slip. The police have seized three bikes which the trio reportedly stole from various places in Mangalore. Lethal weapons found in their possession were also seized.

Those arrested are Mohammad Nisar of Pajir and Ishan Ahmed of Kotekar in Someshwar. The absconding accused is Rifaz.

It is learnt the accused were also wanted in connection with the attempt to burgle a post office at Pangala and the theft of a Scooty in Udyavara. Cases were registered against them even in Konaje, Mangalore  and Honnavar police stations.
