Lady lecturer commits suicide depressed due to lovers death

Moodbidri, Sep 1, 2014 : Reports state, 25-year-old Vanishree, commerce lecturer at Alva’s PU college Modabidri, committed suicide by hanging Aug 30 evening at an apartment in Gandhinagar her place of residence it seems.

 

She is the Daughter of Krishnaraj, resident  of Kadaba in Puttur taluk. She was staying at Rosedal Apartment from last three months along with two other friends.  A suicide note found near the body stated that she was taking this extreme step as she could not overcome the death of her boyfriend who had allegedly committed suicide few days ago.


The incident occurred when her roommates had gone out to participate in ‘Sarvajanika Ganeshostav’. When they returned, they found that the door was locked from inside. They broke open the door only to find  Vanishree hanging and dead. An unnatural death case has been registered and investigations are underway.
