Mangaluru, Dec 18, 2015: The charred body of a 29-year-old married woman, who had gone missing under suspicious circumstances was found near Ekkar in Bajpe on Friday, Dec 18. The deceased lady is Usha Shetty, a resident of Jappinamogaru.
Sources said that Usha had gone missing on Thursday December 17 afternoon and her husband had filed missing complaint in Mangaluru police station.
Today police serched her mobile phone tower location and which was traced in Ekkar. Police and locals had searched the region today and found her charred body in a trench near the road leading to Kodamanithaya temple in Ekkar. A petrol bottle, bag and a medical prescription was also found near the body.
The body has been shifted for post mortem. More details awaited.
