Mangaluru: Robbery at Apple showroom; items worth Rs. 20 lakh looted

Mangaluru: August 3, 2015: Thieves in city are getting more and more brazen. In a yet another case of theft, the thieves broke into Maple Store, the authorized apple showroom located in Balmatta and decamped with the items worth Rs 20 lac.

 

 

Though the showroom is located in the heart of the city, the police remained blissfully unaware.
The CCTV footage has shown three persons gaining entry into the shop by breaking electricity service board.

According to the sources, the theft alarm was fitted on the products, as soon as the thieves stole the product, the security agency located in Mumbai received an alert. The store manager was informed about the theft by the Mumbai security agency officials, who immediately arrived at the spot with the police.

Thieves were so fast in stealing that the fled with the loot before the police the manager arrived. The thieves looted with the items worth Rs. 20 lac. The finger prints experts along with the dog squad arrived at the spot.


A case has been registered at the Kadri Police station. The police have taken up the investigation.
