Mangaluru : Rowdy-sheeter Charan hacked to death at Moodushedde

Mangaluru,  Aug 19, 2016:   A  rowdy-sheeter named Charan who was travelling in an autorickshaw along with his wife and child,  was hacked to death  at Moodushedde on August 19, Friday morning. It is learnt that the assailants who were four in number had arrived by a Bolero vehicle.

 

Eyewitnesses said the autorickshaw in which Charan, a resident of Capitanio area was travelling was intercepted by the  assailants  near the petrol bunk. They then attacked Charan after dragging him out of the autorickshaw.

Though Charan was holding his child in his arms when the attack took place,  neither the child nor his wife was injured.

Charan was rushed to the hospital by the autorickshaw driver who  has reportedly identified the accused as Rizwan and Imran. Charan died soon after he was admited to hospital.

 Sources said  the family of Charan was on way home after  visiting Charan’s mother who had undergone a surgery recently.
