Motorists rescue depressed women from committing suicide under train

Mangalore, Aug 30, 2013: A women, who was found lying on the railway track was rescued by the passersby at railway level-crossing at Pandeshwar on August 29, Thursday at 9 pm.

Reportedly, a depressed woman, said to be a resident of an apartment complex nearby was found lying on the railway track with the intention to commit suicide. 

The motorists who were stopped near the railway crossing, after the gates were shut for the goods train which coming was spotted women on the track alerted the train driver to stop the train. 

Luckily, the driver slowed down the train and stopped it, saving the women from being crushed underneath
