Mangalore, April 27, 2013 : Senior Congress leader B Janardhan Poojari has lambasted senior BJP leader Sushma Swaraj for her comments that the Congress was marred by confusion. “Let Sushma first set her own house in order before commenting on other parties,” Poojari said while hinting at the differences in the BJP.
Addressing reporters at the Mangalore South Election Office of the party here, Poojari alleged that the Election Commission has failed to provide the requisite information to the public regarding the election process and rules and regulations.
He was also critical of some of the rules of the Commission and also took it to task for failing to sensitize public on the issue.
He said AICC President Sonia Gandhi would be addressing a rally at Nehru Maidan at 3 pm on April 27 and urged public who would like to attend the meeting to be at the venue by 1 pm. He also requested the public against bringing any hand bag for security reasons.
Commenting on former CM DV Sadananda Gowda’s allegation that the Congress manifesto was a copy of the BJP manifesto, he said it was the BJP which had copied the Congress manifesto.
