Public intercept fish lorry discharging waste water on road

Mangaluru, Dec 19, 2018 : A fish lorry that  was discharging foul smelling effluent  water all the way in turn inconveniencing other motorists particularly motorbike riders, was intercepted by the public at Mannagudda junction on December 18, Tuesday. The lorry was later handed over to the Barke police.

The fish laden lorry from the old port was proceeding towards Udupi. It is said at least two bike riders had slipped and suffered a fall as the effluents had turned the road slippery.  This agitated the locals who stopped the lorry at Mannagudda and took the cleaner to task.
