Mangalore, Jan 19, 2014: Polio drops were administered to children below five years of age as part of the first phase of the Pulse Polio drive in the district on January 19, Sunday.
The administration had set up nearly 921 Pulse Polio booths across the district as part of the Pulse Polio drive under the National Pulse Polio Programme 2014.
Deputy Commissioner AB Ibrahim who visited Wenlock Hospital in the city, administered Pulse Polio drop to children at the hospital.
The target this time is to administer the Polio drops to 1,68,336 children.
