Suspected suicide pact : 2 brothers found hanging from tree

Kasargod, Feb 8, 2016: In a suspected suicide pact, two brothers were found hanging from a tree  near their house at Pertaje in Perla on February 8, Monday.

 

 

 

The deceased are Nagesh (24) and Umesh (22).  It has been learnt that both of them had attended a function at Bejkudlu on Sunday and had returned in the evening. However, Nagesh later  left  for Perla while Umesh too followed him later. But, when both did not return, anxious family members began a search and finally found their bodies hanging from a tree.

Both the brothers were labourers. The reason behind their extreme step is not known. Their father Shivaram had died a year ago. The two have left behind their mother and a young brother.

The bodies have been shifted to the hospital for a post-mortem. Investigations are underway by Badiadka police.
