Mangaluru Aug 26, 2016: Home Minister Dr G Parameshwar, who visited Commissioner Office in Mangaluru on August 26, Friday was welcomed with Guard of Honour.
Addressing the assembly he said that union government should take stringent action against cow vigilantes as innocent people hacked to death and assaulted in the name of illegal cattle trading.
Speaking about youths from coastal region joining ISIS he said that If we come to know that any organizations are recruiting youths for banned ISIS, we will take suitable actions against them. We are alert and will take necessary action to strengthen our internal security.
Also speaking about Education Department, he said the decision of transferring teachers must be based on counseling.
He added District congress leaders are capable enough to tackle the situation. Mangaluru is known for its hospitality but it was complete shocking behaviour shown by Mangalureans over Ramya.
Police Commissioner Chandrashekar , IGP Western Range Arun Chakravarthy, SP Bhushan Borase, DCP Shantharaju and Sanjeev M Patil were present.
