Young man succumbs to heart attack while driving car near Kuntikan

Mangaluru, May 4, 2016: A young man has reportedly died of cardiac arrest while driving his car on the National Highway near Kuntikan Junction on May 3, Tuesday.

The deceased is Kalander (25), son of Alibaba. He was resident of Panjimogaru and was engaged in catering business.

Passersby who noticed the car parked on roadside saw the driver sitting still in the car. On taking a closer look, they realised that he was dead. The police were informed and the body was shifted to Wenlock Hospital.

Family sources of the youth said he had a heart problem since childhood but his condition had improved in the recent years.

The deceased Kalandar has left behind his parents, a sister and three brothers.

Thank god he parked the car at the road side because the highway is usually crowded and the vehicles move very fast. There was a chances of being hit by other vehicle
