2-Day Workshop on Tulu in internet

Mangalore, Oct 15, 2014: A press note states,  Karnataka Tulu Academy and Tulu Koota, Udupi, will organise a workshop on popularisation of Tulu language in internet in MGM PU College from October 15 to 17 . On October 15, Tulu Sahitya Academy President Janaki Brahmavar will inaugurate the workshop at 10 am.

Tulukoota President Jayakara Shetty, MGM College Principal Prof Kusuma Kamath will attend. Training will be given in the workshop to upload Tulu articles on Wikipedia.

Dr U B Pavanaja, Bangalore, Lecturer Nagaraj G S and Dayananda D will be the resource persons. The valedictory will be held on October 17 wherein Tulu Academy Registrar Chandrahas Rai, Dr Y N Shetty and others will participate. Students knowing Kannda and Tulu will  be well equipped.

NB : Artistes of Sunkadakatte Mela will enact a Tulu Yakshagana play ‘Mantravadi?’, written by G K Shrinivas on October 19 from 2 pm to 8 pm at Padmavathi Kalyana Mantapa in Moodbidri.
