3-day international conference Oct 6 - Lilltle rock to host

Udupi, Sep 16, 2014: A three-day international conference on ‘Leading effective schools’ will be organised jointly by Association of ICSE and CBSE Schools (AICS ) and Little Rock Indian School, Brahmavar at the school  from October 6.

Around 200 principals and senior faculty from different schools in South India are expected to participate. President of AICS and the Principal of Glowinstar Integrated School Udupi, Dr T J Quadros and the Convener of the conference and Principal of Little Rock Indian School Prof Mathew C Ninan have expressed the hope that the event which marks the decennial of AICS will be a landmark one, bringing into focus many vital and innovative school practices that are indispensable in a fast-changing world.

Professor Michael Chirichello of Northern Kentucky University, USA will chair the conference and deliver the inaugural address. Dr Darlene DeMarie from the University of South Florida, Claude Boever (the Director of the Atert-Lycée in Redange, Luxembourg), Dr K Ramnarayan (Vice Chancellor, Manipal University), Dr Shashikala Gurpur (Symbiosis University Pune) and Professor Sunney Tharappan (Director AIM Insights Mangalore) are the other key speakers.  Principal of St Stephen’s College, New Delhi, Dr Valson Thampu, will deliver the valedictory address.
