39th Indian Social Science Congress at MU - Dec 1 to 5

Mangaluru, Dec 01, 2015 :  It is offcially that the 39th Indian Social Science Congress will be held at Mangala auditorium of MU - Mangalore University from December 1 to 5. Mangalore University and Indian Academy of Social Sciences have jointly organised the seminar. Emerging Interfaces of Social Science and Public Policy in India is the focal theme of the Congress.

K Abhayachandra Jain, minister for fisheries, youth empowerment and sports will inaugurate the programme. U T Khader, minister for health and family welfare will be the chief guest. R C Tripathi, President, Indian Academy of Social Sciences will deliver presidential address of the Congress. K Byrappa, vice-chancellor, Mangalore University will preside over the function. About 300 delegates are expected to participate in the programme.
