Cafe Coffee Day launches coffee festival in Mangalore

Mangalore, March 19, 2014 (DHNS): Cafe Coffee Day (CCD)has launched a coffee festival in the city at its two outlets-at Adlabs and at Balmatta road till April 17. Kick starting the coffee festival at Adlabs in Bharat Mall on Tuesday, the coffee evangelist at CCD, Merlin Raj demonstrated the ‘art of coffee making’.

Walk into the two selected cafes and consumers can have the knowledge on how to make a fine cup of coffee using simple coffee making tools. A coffee brewing System, ’coffee day wake cup’ that produces a cup of coffee in 30 seconds is waiting for coffee-craves as a part of the festival.

Also consumers can purchase home coffee making kits comprising of coffee makers and coffee powers. These are available at all CCD cafes in the city. Speaking on the occasion, Merlin Raj said that as coffee drinking is more and more part of the daily life, people have been requesting to learn them the fine art of coffee making.
