Federation to organise Karnataka Yatra’ from Oct 25

Udupi, Oct 22, 2014:   The State Sunni Students Federation will organise ‘Karnataka Yatra’ with the theme "respect humanbeings"  to commemorate the silver jubilee celebrations across the State from October 25 to November 2,  Speaking to media, media wing President Haji M A Bavu said that former minister Mallikarjuna Kharge will inaugurate the Yatra in Khwaja Bande Nawaz grounds in Gulburga on October 25.

The Yatra will pass through Bijapur, Bagalkot, Hubli, Bellary, Davangere, Ranibennur, Shimoga, Bhatkal and will arrive Udupi on October 29. He said 10,000 people are expected to take part in the rally organised at Karavli junction.  Urban Development Minister Vinay Kumar Sorake will inaugurate.

Health Minister U T Khader will be present on the occasion. Pejawar mutt seer, Shiroor mutt seer, and priest of Kalyanpur church will be take part in the convention.   The valedictory of the Yatra will be held in Mangalore on November 2.
