Karnataka Bank gets four ’DGMs’

Mangaluru, April 16, 2015 :According to reports,  Karnataka Bank is promoting four of its assistant general managers - Ranganatha, Mahalingeshwara K, Ravishankar N R, and Ravi S as deputy general managers.

*** Ranganatha, a graduate in agricultural sciences started his career in the Bank in 1983 as an agriculture field officer at Chikkamagaluru branch. He was elevated as a chief manager in February 2008 and promoted as assistant general manager in December 2011 and headed theBank’s Shivamogga Region. On his present promotion as deputy general manager, Ranganatha will assume responsibility as head of the bank’s Delhi Region.

***  Mahalingeshwara commenced his service in the bank in 1984, he is a post graduate in commerce, a Certified Associate of Indian Institute of Banking and Finance. On his elevation as deputy general manager, Mahalingeshwara has now assumed charge as head of credit - department.


*** Ravishankar N R, is a graduate in commerce and a Certified Associate of Indian Institute of Banking and Finance who started his career in the Bank in 1980. Over the last 35 years he has served in various cadres, and at various branches. He was elevated as a chief manager in July 2004 and as assistant general manager in October 2008. On promotion as DGM, he has assumed charge as Deputy General Manager of the Bank’s IT BuS and BPR Cell at head office.

*** Ravi S a graduate in commerce, and Associate Chartered Accountant started his career in the Bank as an officer in 1985 in the bank’s inspection and vigilance department at head office.

In July 2004 he was promoted as chief manager and headed Chennai- Thambu  Chetty Street branch. In March 2010 he was elevated at assistant general manager and has been heading bank’s Chennai Region till date. Now, he will assume charge of credit monitoring cell at the Bank’s head office.
