MLA to solve problems of pry schools

Karkala, Sep 21, 2014:  The problems faced by primary schools will be solved soon, said MLA V Sunil Kumar.

Speaking at Children’s Parliament organised by the taluk Shikshana Sampanmoola Kendra, Padi Valored, Vikasa Sauharda Bank and Rotaract here recently, he promised to release Rs five lakh from MLA fund for providing basic facilities in Bajagoli Government Primary School. Fifty five students from 18 schools had taken part in the Children’s Parliament.

The students complained that schools do not have toilets, play ground and water connections. Zilla Panchayat President Savita Shivananda Kotian, taluk panchayat President Vijaya Kumari and others were present.
