Madikeri, Nov 27, 2014: Helen Metilda, who workers to provide sites for poor was attacked by few unknown Miscreants at Mullusoge village on Tuesday .Helen is severely injured in the incident and undergoing treatment  at Madikeri district hospital .

Speaking to media, Helen said” In Mullusoge gram panchayat limit there is Pysari land, but few politicians have sketched to enchroach the land. I was attacked for questioning that. I wanted to provide that land to poor and widows of that village.” A complaint has been registered regarding the incident.
 
A group of women met Deputy Commissioner Anurag Tewari On Wednesday and submitted a memorandum to take action against the miscreants at the earliest
