Poojary will bring charm to the parliament: SM Krishna

Kumbra, April 11, 2014: “Modi’s dictatorship has not only created a rift in the BJP but will also hamper the country’s progress. Modi, who is being depicted as the country’s next prime minister has already sidelined every other senior politician in the BJP,” said S.M. Krishna, former union minister addressing the election rally at Koudichchar, Puttur.

 

“Senior BJP leaders such as Advani, Murali Manohar Joshi, Jaswanth Singh and Yashwanth Sinha are all sidelined. Modi is currently acting as the king in the party,” he said.

 
“None of the senior BJP leaders are in the position to express their views. Advani, who has toiled so much for the BJP in the past 40 years had shown interest to contest from Bhopal, however Modi turned down the proposal. Advani was later given a chance to contest from Gandhi Nagar as decided by Modi and not Advani. This should not have been the case.”
 

“There is a need of communal harmony, peace and understanding in the society which only Congress can provide. Congress has a provided a government of peace,” he elaborated.

 
 Let Poojary enter parliament:

 
“Poojary is an asset of Congress. I’ve learnt a lot from him during his tenure as the unit president. I never used to venture into any project with consulting him. Everybody knows that Poojary is a clean politician. His works as the MP and as the union minister will never let him down. His re-entry as the MP will bring a charm to the parliament,” said Krishna.

 

Ramanath Rai, DK district in-charge minister, UT Khader, state minister for health and family welfare, Ibrahim Kodijal, Ivan D’Souza and Hemanath Shetty were present among others.
