Prathiba Kulai case : Court grants anticipatory bail to four accused

Mangalore, April 18, 2014 : The District and Sessions Court has granted anticipatary bail to four people in connection with the verbal abuse and molestation of corporator Prathiba Kulai. The accused were identified as Manoj, Sachin, Lokesh and Dayanand.

Prathiba Kulai had filed a complaint in Surathkal Police Station stating that on March 30 when she had gone to Kodikere for campaiging seven people had abused her tried to molest her. Two minors who were among accused were sent to the remand home after they were produced in the court. They were then released on bail. The third accused was also given bail. Presently, four accused have been granted bail.

Kishore Kumar, Dinesh Ulaibettu and Chidanand argued on behalf of the accused.
