Runaway tipper at Nanthoor causes havoc

Mangaluru, April  27, 2015: It is reported that a  parked Tipper which was being pushed by people to help police get it out of the way, barged into an electric pole, the bus-stand and only stopped after crushing two parked motorbikes at Nanthoor  April 26, Sunday.


The tipper being pushed by people to the side of the sloping road gathered speed and went out of control. It then crashed into an electric pole, hit the bus stop and climbed over two parked motorbikes which were crushed. It only came to a stop after a few yards by the side of a hill. Kadri police have booked a case. It is evident that rules of not moving a vehicle without a driver are strictly followed in all situations.
