Mangaluru : As per reports,  Trasi in Kundapur taluk of Udupi district recorded maximum rainfall of 92mm in the last 24 hours up to 8.30am on July 31. Rupanagudi hobli in Ballari taluk of Ballari district recorded maximum temperature of 38.9°C at 2.15pm on July 30. Javali hobli in Mudigere taluk of Chikkamagaluru district recorded lowest minimum temperature of 17.6°C at 11.15pm on July 30. 

More than 90% relative humidity has been recorded in 50% geographical area in the state. Less than 25% of relative humidity has been recorded in 0% geographical area in the state. Rainfall over the state is considered as isolated since 21% of hoblis and gram panchayats recorded rainfall =2.5mm. Heavy rain was recorded over 10 gram panchayats, rather heavy rain over 66 gram panchayats; moderate rain in 402 gram panchayats; light rain in 310 gram panchayats; very light rain in 663 gram panchayats; and no rainfall in remaining 3,514 GPs across the state.

Karnataka for the period from July 25 to July 31 recorded deficit rainfall of 66%. Against normal weighted average rainfall of 60mm in south-interior, north-interior, malnad and coastal parts, state recorded rainfall of 20mm. For 24-hours period ending 8.30am on July 31, four geographical regions received 3mm actual weighted average rainfall against normal weighted average rainfall of 8mm, a 61% deficit departure from weighted-average normal.
