Udupi, July 25, 2014 : A cyclist was killed after he was crushed under the lorry at Kota in Kundapur on July 24. It is reported the  deceased is one Sanjeeva Mogaveera, aged around 50, riding on a cycle. the lorry was moving in a wrong direction towards an under construction road. He was killed on the spot. A case was registered and is being investigated.

In Haladi village in Shankaranarayana in Kundapur, in another incident, a person died after he accidentally slipped into the well in the neighborhood. The deceased is Shararth Shetty, aged 34. A  case was  booked .
