Udupi: Rangoli contest on April 11 by SVEEP Committee

Udupi, April 8, 2014: To create awareness on the need for exercising franchise, the Udupi SVEEP Committee will conduct rangoli competition on April 11. The theme of the rangoli contest is ‘democracy and voting’.

The contest will be held on the road in front Udupi Taluk Panchayath. Interested can register their name on the spot. All those who are in above 18 years old are eligible to take part in the competition. The participants should get the colour powder for the competition along with a copy of the EPIC. The winners will get a cash price of Rs.3,000 and 2,000 respectively said a press release from ZP CEO M Kanagavalli.
