Website on legal awareness

Mangaluru, Dec 10, 2014: Knowing law is very important for peaceful living and legal knowledge should be made available in simple words and in the language of common man, said Fr John Vas. He was speaking after launching website for legal awareness, at Bishop’s House, Kodialbail in Mangalore on Sunday.

Speaking further, he hailed the efforts of advocate Stanley R D Costa for his legal awareness articles and books in regional languages published in last eight year. More young service minded advocates should come forward and participate in similar initiative, Fr John Vas said.

The website srdcosta.com, which contains legal articles in Kannada and Konkani languages, was published by Global TV with legal expertise of Stanley D’Costa. The website was launched by Fr John Vas and Rudolf D’silva by handing over the website model to William D’Souza and Melwil Pinto. Prof John Edward D’silva, Prof Eric Petro, Dr Christopher D’Souza were present among others.
