Jan 23, 2015: Daring Reinhard Kleindl and pal Lukas Irmler walked a high line across Victoria Falls, the world’s biggest waterfall.
Battling fierce winds and water spray, daring Reinhard Kleindl, 34, fulfils a lifelong dream of walking a high line across Victoria Falls.
The Austrian and his German pal Lukas Irmler were the first to achieve the feat at the world’s biggest waterfall on the border of Zimbabwe and Zambia.
Backed with safety equipment, they trod 91 metres along a rope suspended at 100 metres high and fell several times in the attempt.
Lukas, 26, who took three tries before making it across in 10 minutes, said: “The most difficult thing about this line was the spray.
“After a few seconds on the line you were soaked and the water made it very slippery. The feeling of completing it was magical.”
