The way the weather has been going this spring, summer 2012 might well be a season best enjoyed from a point of shelter.

If you’ve got the kind of garden that needs its own map, you might be interested in one of these deluxe summerhouses from Ornate Garden – on display at this year’s Chelsea Flower Show.

It’s 11ft wide, 9ft tall, and seats ten people – ideal for that slightly damp summer barbecue where you inevitably end up sheltering inside.

Entry to the Joe 90-esque pod is through a vertical sliding door, and there is a mains power supply inside to ensure you don’t run short of things to do.
