Abu Dhabi , Feb 14, 2013 : The Konkani Cultural Organization  of Abu Dhabi will be holding its annual event Fiesta 2013  on April 19 at  the Abu Dhabi Country club. The event will feature fun, entertainment as well as a sumptuous lunch.

Well known personalities  from Konkani entertainment world from Mangalore, Mumbai, Goa and the Gulf  will  entertain the gathering. The entertainment package will  feature  Konkani, English, & Hindi  songs  and dance performances.
Ivan Sequeira popularly known as  Baila King, the singer and composer Kalashree Claud D’Souza,  another famed singer Nephie Rod  and upcoming singer  Kevin Misquith along with  Adrian Gomes from Kuwait   will be the performers at the event which is eagerly awaited.


There’s much more. Goa’s well-known band ‘Purple Rain’  will present mesmerizing show featuring rock music and songs that are sure to win hearts.


The Purple Rain band which began its journey in 1985, is now considered as one of the top pop rock and dance bands not only in Goa, but all over India and the Middle East. Purple Rain is famous for  its  original  composition “Bala Bala Music.”  In India the Group has already performed in Mumbai, Cochin, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Manipal, Kolhapur, Mangalore and Indore. 


Bennette D’Mello, President of KCO, is confident that this year’s Fiesta will  be a resounding success. The show will be compered by  Leslie Rego.
