Abu Dhabi, June 26 ,2012: Today will be a new beginning for Konkani Restaurant LLC which is ready, relocated, renovated and all set to serve Konkani community  after almost gap of a year.

 

 

 

 

 

The Konkans Restaurant was the talk of the town for a few years and suddenly stopped due to relocation to the new building.  It took a much longer than expected but it is worth a wait as it is now located at a prime location and with a prime purpose that is with a break fast which was not available in the old premises.
 
The Konkans Restaurant was missed by all as almost all Konkani catholic and non-Catholic, Marati and Malayali community who largely depend on Konkans for the Mangalorean specialty fish and meat curries, sannnas, pan-polle and soups.  The entire Konkani community depend Konkans Restaurant largely for weekend parties, community celebrations, b’day and wedding anniversaries celebrations including all the associations in Abu Dhabi were depend on Konkans for their monthly meetings, get-togethers, annual functions.  Now they all can breathe a sigh of relief as it is once again ready to serve them with a variety of foods and delicacies and Mangalorean specialties.


The newly renovated and brightly decorated restaurant gives feeling of a belonging and family atmosphere.  There is ample place, large rooms and tables to serve as many people as possible at a time.  It is also located at a prime business and residential location and this time with Break Fast such as Idli-wada-masala dosa and many more varieties to satisfy your breakfast requirements at a minimal cost.

The blessings of the restaurant was performed by Rev. Fr. Savarimuthu Cap.OFM, Parish Priest of Abu Dhabi last Friday amidst family members, partners and friends and the restaurant was formerly inaugurated by cutting of cake and blessings of the premises.
