Belthangady man dies of heart attack enroute airport at Jeddah

Saudi Arabia, February 14, 2025: A man from Belthangady succumbed to heart attack at Saudi Arabia while he was on way to the airport to catch a flight to his homeland. The incident occurred late night on February 13.
The deceased is Hidayat. He was scheduled to return hometown on Friday and was excited and had even called his friend Rafique to arrive at the airport to pick him up. He was supposed to reach Mangaluru on Friday morning after boarding a flight at Jeddah on Thursday night. However he suffered chest pain as he reached the airport by car. He was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital where he succumbed.
Hidayat who was a good singer was working in a cargo company and is survived by his parents, wife and four children.
