Bahrain, Dec 5, 2013: The Bunts Bahrain Association recently convened its general body meeting to elect its new executive committee for the year 2013-2014. Bharath Shetty and Sunil Shetty were elected as president and vice-president respectively.

 

 
The new office-bearers are Doomanna Rai as general secretary, Mohandas Shetty as treasurer,  Prasanna Shetty as entertainment secretary, Pushparaja Shetty as public relations officer,  Sukesh Shetty as sports secretary, Pranesh Shetty as assistant sports secretary,  Naveen Alva, as assistant entertainment secretary, and Shivaraj Shetty A V as assistant general secretary.

Bunts Bahrain established in 2002. The main motto of the Association is to have the close community relationship with Bunts community, and to help any needy families in Bahrain and back home. They have given scholarship to students in Dakshina Kannada and helped few families in marriage expenses. In Bahrain they conduct annual blood donation, annual picnic, sports and other activities annually in order to strengthen the ties between the community members.
