Doha, 26 October 2010: Mangalore Cricket Club (MCC), Qatar will hold its ever popular 9th Annual MCC Ladies Open Throwball Tournament in this weekend 28th and 29th October 2010 at the old Ideal Indian School Grounds (Girls Wing).
This year 4 teams, namely, Tulu Koota, Konkan Stars, Qatar Tamizhar Sangam, and host team MCC will be vying for the prestigious MCC Trophy. Matches on Thursday will start at 6.45 pm and on Friday at 4.00 pm.
The Throwball Tournament in the past has not just provided an avenue for ladies to exhibit their sporting skills, it has also been an opportunity for the spectators to join in the fun and spirit of the game. MCC invites all sports lovers in Qatar to attend this tournament in large numbers and cheer the teams.
