A Family Day Of Games, Music, Dance , Food And Lots Of Fun

 Doha, Qatar, 24,  Novmber 2011: Mangalore Cricket Club (MCC), Qatar is proud to present the   ’Mangalorean Day’ - an evening of games, food, loads of entertainment and lots and lots of FUN, on 25th November 2011, from 4 p.m. onwards, at the new Ideal Indian School - Junior Wing premises, near Safari Mall and QDC, Abu Hamour. Mangalorean day is celebrated with the intention of providing the Mangalorean Community in Qatar with a platform to showcase their talents and to enjoy each other’s company, as one FAMILY.

 

The evening will begin with a variety of stall fun games for all ages, followed by a cultural program at 6.00 pm by the local talents with children and adults dancing and singing to your hearts’ content.

 
While one’s eyes, ears, hearts and minds are being entertained by drama, music and dance, a grand variety of home cooked Mangalorean delicacies will be available to satisfy one’s literal hunger.

 
Little children will present an action song and dance to the tunes of konkani and hindi numbers.  Youth will present a fusion dance and a beautiful konkani story in a song dance number.  Adults will present a fashion parade and sing beautiful konkani numbers in solo, duet and group performances.  Konkani short drama "Kuzner Charlie" written by Glany Fernandes and directed by Gladson Almeida will be played during the programme.

 Come and try your luck in the Raffle draw and win a Jet Airways return ticket to India or win some other attractive prizes.  The entire proceeds of the evening will be used in service of the needy.

 
We earnestly request all to come forward and participate in this Mangalorean Day  by partaking in fun games, enjoying the talents of our own fellow Mangaloreans during the cultural program,  enjoy the food fiesta or by volunteering yourself at the food or game stalls or in any other way and enjoy a funfilled evening with your near and dear ones.
