Dubai, July 12, 2013 : Kannada Koota, UAE organised an Iftar Meet for Muslim brethren at the Fortune Grand Hotel Apartment recently thereby displaying a splendid example of communal harmony.
Sadhan Das, President of the Kannada Koota accorded a cordial welcome to the gathering. The programme commenced with Anwar reciting some verses of Quran and interpreting its meaning.
Harshad Hussain, Chief of Sahil Online spoke on the significance of the month of Ramadan and the customs and traditions associated with it.
MA Muloor, an office bearer of BCF organization said Ramadan is the right time for the Muslim brethren to take the spiritual path which would bring them closer to Allah.
Razak of BCF thanked the Kannada Koota members for organizing the Iftar Koota. A large number of Muslim brethren and over 75 members of Kannada Koota took part in the Iftar Meet.
