Dubai: Karnataka Sangha to host Silver Jubilee Dance Cup on Jul 2

Dubai, June 30: Karnataka Sangha in Dubai will host Dance competition ‘ Silver Jubilee Puravankara Dance cup’ at Elite English School, near Century Malla, Deira Dubai on Friday, July 2.

A press release here stated that the competition will be held as a part of silver Jubilee celebrations of Karnataka Sangha. Nearly 16 dance groups from different community and associations from all over the UAE will vie in the competition. The dance competition will have two categories like Junior and Senior.

The title sponsor of the competition is M/S Puravankara Project LTD. The objective of this Dance competition is to bring out the dancing talent of kannadigas here in UAE by bringing them together under one roof and the final 3 winners will get a chance to perform in the “Grand Rajyotsava Program 2010 to be held in November 2010.

Chief Guest for this event will be Consul for passport Amar Jit Singh from Indian Consulate, Dubai and compare for this event will be Bhasker Rai Kukkuvalli a well known stage personality from Mangalore.
