Dubai: LKAE to celebrate Easter with Fr Alwyn DCunha

Dubai, 27 April 2011: Lourdes Kanajar Association is all set to celebrate Easter on the 28th of April at Hotel Al-Mas, Bur-Dubai. LKAE is now stepping into 11th year since its inception in 2000 and recently held its Decennial celebrations in Kanajar. 

 

 

As a Chief guest, Fr. Alwyn D’cunha, Parish Priest has specially flown in from Kanajar and LKAE members have been eagerly waiting for his arrival in Dubai. Fr. Alwyn D’cunha has completed his 7 years of service as a Parish Priest and during his tenure he has worked very hard for the upliftment of parishioners both spiritually and economically. Kanajar parish has in the recent past witnessed few major developmental projects in the form of a huge auditorium, a complete makeover to the Church building and many other projects. With the help of LKAE and parishioners at large, he has been instrumental in setting up an Educational Fund for poor children which has currently sponsored over 15 children, studying in various disciplines such as Engineering, Nursing and Degree programs.

As a spiritual leader of LKAE, he has supported in every possible way and now LKAE invites him to share their joyous occasion of Easter together with families of over 120 members in the Emirate.
