Kuwait, November 26: Kuwait Canara Welfare Association will celebrate ’KCWA CHRISTMAS PARTY’ on Friday, 10th December 2010 at Carmel School (basement hall), Khaitan from 4:00 pm to 9:00 p.m.

A press release here said that the whole event, dedicated to KCWA Family, especially to children, will have various competitions for all age groups, Santa giving away goodies to children, Christmas tableau, carol singing, DJ Music, baila masala, dances, games, spot prizes, presentation of scholarships & awards, lucky draws, gifts galore and delicious dinner.

Apart from the above, Membership draw and Christmas Hamper draw will also be held with fabulous prizes during the event. The HIGHEST SELLER of Hampers will be honoured in order to recognize his/her contribution to KCWA. To enter into the competition of Highest Seller of Hampers, the minimum sale is 10 hampers of KD 5/- each. Kindly collect the hampers from any of the Management Committee members, release added.

In order to encourage young talents KCWA intends to introduce Young MC’s to compere the Christmas competitions. Entry pass for school children up to XII standard is KD 1.500 and adults KD 2.000. Entry for tiny tots (3 yrs. & below), senior citizens (above 60 years) and Patron Members is Free, to be collected before the dead line.

Dear, Regards, Would like to know whether this event is restricted to only the members of the Association or to all the Catholics of the Kuwait. I am not a member and and had a wish to to be part of the event. Therefore I contacted the person concerned selling the tickets, though initially he insisted on we becoming the member of the association later he agreed to give the tickets. But he stressed on the fact that my daughter cannot take part in any of the games, also he refused to give free tkt to my mother ( senior citizen). Is this information correct. please let me know. Thanks, Adwin
