Muscat: Spandana to host ‘Sangeetha Lahari’ on Jan 21

Muscat January 7, 2010: Spandana, a group of ardent music lovers, will organize a musical programme ‘Sangeeta Lahari’ at Al Falaji Hotel, Muscat on Friday, January 21.

A press release here stated that Shri Ravindra Prabhu (golden voice of coastal Karnataka) and Ms. Anita Samson will sing the melodious songs in various languages. The musical show is being organised first time in Muscat. The show will comprise of songs from Hindi, Kannada, Tulu, Konkani, Kodava languages. The special attraction of the event will be a short Yakshagana ballet.

Ravindra Prabhu and Anita Sampson will enthrall the audience with their amazing performance. They will be accompanied by a team of experienced musicians who have been playing for great playback singers like Dr. S. P. Balasubramanyam, M. D. Pallavi, Guru Kiran, Puttur Narasimha Nayak to name a few, press release added.
