Riyadh, Mar 11: Aangann Konknechem Riyadh released Tulu album PANI PANI BARSA of Arthur Pereira Omzoor’s in Riyadh Saudi Arabia on 3rd March 2011. The cd was inaugrated by Mr. Ramesh Shetty, President of Karavali Welfare Association Riyadh. It was a historical Move releasing a tulu album in the kingdom.

 

 

 

Speaking on the occasion he said that the singers should be encouraged for their work and wished that ’Pani Pani Barsa’ music album would bring cheer to Tuluvas all over the world staying far from their native land.

Royston Prabhu, Senior Advisor of Aangankonn konknechem Riyadh, Felix Majma , Arun DSouza Palimar President of Aangann Konknechem Riyadh wished Arthur Pereira for his Tulu Album Pani Pani Barsa and expected more melodious songs.

Arthur Pereira is an accomplished Kannada-Konkani-Tulu poet. He also serves as guest artiste in Akashwani Mangalore. He has composed lyrics for Kazaar, Konkani movie that was released in 2009. He has also bagged state-level Samaja Ratna that was presented by the then governor Dr T N Chaturvedi in 2005.

His Konkani collection of poems  ’Thiem Dhookha Ulythana’ (When Tears Speak) was published in 2007. He had also contributed for Kannada poetry  ’Taare Yenisi Mottha Heli’ along with others besides Konkani poetry - ’Tara Ani Motiyam.’ It was published in both e-media and print media.

Arthur Pereira has also bagged nominations for Best Lyricist in Global Music Award for his Konkani album ’Taaram.’ After the mega success of ’Taaram,’ Maa Creations launched their second venture  ’Pani Pani Barsa.’ It contains melodious songs composed by Arthur Pereira and sung by playback singers Anuradha Bhat, Hemanth, Harsha Usha Kokila, Manjunath, Subramanyam along with Raviraj Tantry and Joseph Mathias.

Sandalwood popular music director Cajetan Dias is the music director of ’Pani Pani Barsa.’ Sandalwood musicians Alwyn Fernandes, Butto and Saju have also contributed their music.

The Album has been recorded at Eden Diji Studio, Bangalore and mixing and balancing has been done at Dynamic Studio, Bangalore.

Aangnn Konknechem Riyadh honored and bid fare well to Mr. Ambrose DMello Pangla, Mumbai the Ex Treasurer of Aangann Konknechem Riyadh. Mr. Manoj Mascarenhas Urva, Coordinator of Aangann Konknechem & Alfred Fernandes Sirsi, Treasurer felicitated Mr. Ambrose dmello by giving away a memento and souveniour..
