UAE Bunts hold annual get-together –“Koodukatt”

Dubai, April 27, 2013 : Dr BR Shetty, Chairman of UAE Exchange inaugurated the 39^th annual ‘Koodukatt’- a get together of UAE Bunts organized on April 26, Friday at JW Mariott Hotel here.

Bunta Vibhushana title was conferred on the occasion on Kudi Vasanth Shetty, national award winning teacher. His wife Latha was also present on the occasion.

Ganesh Hegde, famous Bollywood Choreographer, was present as a chief guest. He lauded the achievements of Bunt community members in various spheres.

UAE Bunts President, Sarvottam Shetty. Acme Building Materials owner, Harish Serigar, producer of ‘Nirel’ movie and journalist, Shodhan Prasad, main sponsor, Pravin Shetty and wife, Roopa of Fortune Hotel, Shekhar Shetty and his wife, Kushala of Arab Udupi Hotel and several others were felicitated on the occasion

The talent rewards were presented to children by Dr BR Shetty.

A ‘Radiac Fashion Show was presented by Jayashree Shetty, Shobha Shetty and troupe. A Tulu drama ‘Appena Tyaga’ was among a host of entertainment programmes presented on the occasion.
