USWAS Shirva organizes the Blood Donation Campaign in Dubai

Dubai, 25 August 2012: USWAS - St. Mary’s Wellfare association Shirva organized  a blood donation campaign at  Latifa  Hospital ( Old Al Wasl  Hospital), Dubai -  on  Friday,  from 9 am to 12 noon.

 

 

 

Under the slogan and goal  "Give Blood Give Life "  campaign,  USWAS has enthusiastically came forward to serve the humanity which is one of the 10 social welfare projects of its decennial year.  A large number of donors irrespective of cast and creed participated in this noble cause and donated blood to make the event successful. The Managing committee members of USWAS were present to welcome the donors and guided them for the initial formalities of blood donation.

 
USWAS Managing Committee thanked all the donors who took active participation in this campaign and were grateful to them. This was the first time USWAS had organized blood donation campaign. The efforts of USWAS in organizing the first blood camp were well appreciated by DHA and staff of the hospital.


On behalf of USWAS-SHIRVA all blood donsors were awarded with letters of appreciation by president Manoj Menezes.  Breakfast was arranged for all the Donors.


USWAS, in the UAE is a group of dedicated members of parish of Our Lady of Health Church -Shirva. This well established association has consistently rendered a constant community service in various fields for the past  10 years. The association abides and drives its spirit with the motto of  ‘Lend a hand not for self, but for each other’.  Driven by this motto USWAS involved in various Humanitarian service to promote the quality of life.
