Aafiya TPA Services Recognized as ‘Best Insurance TPA’ at IFM Awards 2016

Dubai, Feb 2, 2017: Aafiya TPA Services, the leading UAE-based specialized integrated service provider for healthcare management, has received the ‘Best Insurance TPA’ award at the International Finance Magazine (IFM) Awards 2016, held at the JW Marriott Marquis Hotel – Dubai, on January 26, 2017. The award was received by Mr. Ali Zaidi - General Manager of Aafiya at the awards ceremony attended by individuals and organizations in the international finance industry.

French Regional Counselor for Health - Middle East, Guillaume Huart Visits Gulf Medical University - Ajman

Gulf Medical University (GMU), Ajman had the pleasure of hosting Mr. Guillaume Huart, Regional Counselor for Health - Middle East at Embassy of France, on Wednesday, February 1, 2017. He met the Founder, President of Board of Governors of GMU Mr. ThumbayMoideen and the Chancellor of GMU, Prof. HossamHamdy.

Mr. Guillaume Huart was presented with the vision and mission of GMU, and he toured the educational and research facilities in the campus. He also saw the different ongoing projects of the hospitals and medical centers in the campus, and discussed about establishing strong relations with the French Universities, hospitals and companies, and working together in the field of health.

Mr. Huartsaid that he was impressed with the unique vision and strategies, as well as the facilities of GMU. “I take this opportunity to express my admiration for this global project, which takes into account not only healthcare, butresearch too. Research is a key point for developing healthcare, and I realize how much integrated this vision is, in GMU. I hope that my meeting with Prof. HossamHamdy, theChancellor will be key to developing thiscomprehensive, integrated Academic Healthcare System,” he said.

Expressing gratitude for Mr. Huart’s visit, Prof. HossamHamdy shared his thoughts on the way forward. He said, “We are building on the long history of collaboration with France in the field of healthcare and medical education and training of students and paramedics and future specialists. Our collaboration with leading French Universities has been ongoing. We hope to offer top French programs at Gulf Medical University.”
