Ajman, Oct 26, 2017: An aid post of Ajman Police was opened at Thumbay Hospital, Ajman on 25th October 2015. The chief guest of the opening ceremony, H.E. Major General Sheikh Sultan Bin Abdullah Al Nuaimi – the General Commander of Ajman Policeofficially inaugurated the aid post. Also present at the ceremony were Mr. Mohammad Abufara – COO of Thumbay Hospital Ajman, officers of Ajman Police and members of the hospital’s administration team.
The police aid post has been set up to facilitate the fast and easy clearance of the patients’ police-related formalities. Apart from RTA clearance in case of accidents, the aid post would also deal with hospitalizations in police cases and enable desk notifications, eliminating the need to either visit the police station or wait for officers to arrive.
Speaking about the permanent police office inside Thumbya Hospital, Mr. Akbar MoideenThumbay, Vice President of Thumbay Group’s Healthcare Division said: “The new police aid post is an important addition to Thumbay Hospital’s patient-friendly services. Patients can now seek the help of the police as and when they require.” Mr. Mohammad Abufarasaid that with the setting up of the police aid post, the entire hospital building is now under round-the-clock surveillance of the police, providingadditional safety to the in-patients.
